Are your blu Tank™ systems compatible with other blu products? What about other brands of electronic cigarettes?

blu Tanks can be used with Premium100 batteries but are not compatible with products made by other electronic cigarette brands. For optimal performance, it is recommended that you use a tank with a blu PLUS+™ battery.

Do blu Tank™ systems contain propylene glycol?

Yes. Propylene glycol, when combined with glycerin, enhances flavor delivery in some of our flavors. Propylene glycol is commonly used in electronic cigarettes (e-cigs) as a base carrier and to help blend flavor ingredients. When combined with glycerin, it also enhances flavor delivery and aerosol density, and generally improves the overall product quality and vaping experience.

Is there a risk that the smoke juice can cause allergic reactions or other adverse side effects?

There might be individualized personal conditions that result in an allergic reaction to any kind of chemical substance. In the event that you experience an allergic reaction while using any blu product, you should discontinue its use and consult with a physician.

Can my blu Tank™ unit leak during an airplane flight?

blu Tanks may leak slightly during an airplane flight. Should you experience any leakage, wipe the residue from the end of the tank before use.

Can I make my own smoke juice and use it with blu Tank™ systems?

No. First, all blu Tanks are completely sealed on the inside. If you attempt to open the blu Tank, remove the smoke juice and replace it with your own, it will cause malfunctions with your electronic cigarette and will void your warranty.

Second, nicotine, if not properly tested and regulated, is a dangerous substance. Because smoke juice is ingested, it’s essential that you are mindful of the source and ingredients that go into it. If you aren’t sure, you run the risk of injury. For this reason, we strongly recommend against making and using your own smoke juice with our products.

How do I properly dispose of my used blu Tank™ unit?

Simply unscrew the empty landfill-safe blu Tank from the battery, and throw it away.

No. The tank is prefilled, and if you attempt to take the tank apart, it will not function correctly. blu Tanks are intended for one-time use only.

Why do blu Tank™ units come in a pack of 3 when there are 5 flavor cartridges in a pack?

While individual usage will vary, blu Tanks were constructed to last at least two times longer than our flavor cartridges. To keep the cost of our products low, blu made the decision to offer quantity at a price point that is reasonable for the most important portion of our business—our customers.

Why is the nicotine level now represented as a percentage instead of milligrams (mg to %)?

blu eCigs is committed to ensuring that adult smokers can make informed decisions regarding the level of nicotine that they choose to use. For that reason, we have changed the representation of our nicotine levels from milligrams (mg) to percentages (%).

By providing a percentage, such as 2.4% (High), we are representing that the nicotine concentration contained in the liquid is 2.4% of the overall weight of liquid within the blu Tank™ unit. This directly corresponds to the nicotine strength per puff that you can expect to enjoy.

We have found that the amount of juice, size of products and the representation of nicotine content of products vary significantly from brand to brand. Milligrams of nicotine (mg) used to describe a product typically indicates the maximum amount of nicotine that could be delivered over the use of the entire unit. It is not an indication of the strength of nicotine you can expect to receive in each puff.

blu changed the nicotine strength of our High product category because of our commitment to offer more satisfaction to adult smokers compared to traditional cigarettes. This was the most frequently requested change that was conveyed by our customers.

No, they produce vapor. When a user inhales on the e-cig, a part called the atomizer heats up the smoke juice in the blu Tank. This turns the smoke juice into vapor, which is what a user inhales and exhales when using our electronic cigarettes.

How is a blu Tank™ system similar to cartridges?

What is a blu Tank™ system and how is it different from cartridges?

Cartridges are constructed using an absorbent material that holds liquid, which is heated by a battery. As the heated liquid begins to evaporate, it produces vapor.

blu Tank systems are similar in concept, but they are assembled using no absorbent material and are filled entirely with liquid. The tank holds a greater amount of liquid, lasts considerably longer, delivers more vapor and provides more consistent vapor than a cartridge (the first puff will be as satisfying as the last). The blu Tank system was also constructed to provide a draw that is more characteristic of a traditional cigarette.

Yes. All electronic components are covered by our limited 1-year warranty. If any of these items is defective during the warranty period, you can exchange it for an operational one at no extra cost.

Can I store blu Tank™ units in my blu PLUS+™ Pack?

Yes. The blu PLUS+ pack will hold three blu Tanks units. The best way to store tanks in your pack is sealed with their cap and pull tab in place with the end that attaches to the battery facing down in the pack. This ensures that the flavor liquid contained inside is close to the atomizer contained inside and will help for optimal performance from the first puff.

How do I use or change my blu Tank™ System?

To use a blu Tank, complete the following steps:

1. Peel off film from the sealed storage tray to remove one tank.

2. Remove the silicone cap from the end of the tank.

3. Remove the pull-tab from the other end of the tank.

4. Screw the tank into the battery.

How do I change my blu Tank
blu Tanks units are sealed until the silicone cap and pull tab are removed, but if for some reason you get fluid from the tank on your skin, wash the affected area under water. Once a tank is empty, it will not produce vapor and can be replaced.

Do not remove the sticker from the blu Tank unit until you are ready to use the tank. Tanks should be stored in the pack with the silicone cap side down.

Can I use my existing blu wall charger to charge my blu PLUS+™ Pack?

The wall charger that we sell in our online store can be used with the blu PLUS+ pack. The wall charger that was provided for our Original pack is NOT compatible.

Yes, the car charger is compatible with the blu PLUS+ pack.

Can I use any type of charger or cable to charge my Pack?

We do not recommend that you use any other charger or charging cord sold by a third party, as we can’t guarantee those other companies’ products meet the voltage and current requirements of our pack. Should you choose to use an outside party’s product, we cannot assure performance or be responsible for any issues that you may experience with your pack. In addition, using non-blu charging devices may void your warranty. Chargers and other accessories may be purchased in our online store.

How do I charge the blu PLUS+™ batteries?

Batteries are shipped with a partial charge; however, for best performance with first time use, it is recommended that you completely charge the batteries before using them.

Complete the following steps:

1. Remove the plastic wrapper from one of the batteries.

2. Open the pack. Locate the slot marked “CHARGE.”

3. Insert the battery’s open-ended side into this slot, and close the lid.

When you first place a battery into the pack for charging, the pack’s blue light will slowly flash according to the remaining number of times the pack can charge a battery before the pack itself needs recharging.

The pack’s red light will glow when the battery has been properly loaded into the pack and the lid closed. A solid red light indicates the battery is charging. When the battery is fully charged, the red light will shut off.

If the red light blinks rapidly, remove the battery for 10 seconds then reinsert into the pack. If the red light continues to blink rapidly, then the battery is defective or has been depleted of its charge, and the battery should be discarded and replaced with a new one. In the event you need to exchange your battery, complete the Replacement Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form online.

As long as you care for it as directed in your product manual, you can expect to get about 1,000 recharges out of each blu eCigs® battery. Note that tampering with, overcharging, and/or exposure to excessive heat will reduce the number of recharges you can get from your blu eCigs battery.

The number of times the blue light blinks indicates the approximate number of times the pack can charge the battery before the pack needs recharging.
  • The bottom light is red, and it is associated with the e-cigarette battery’s charge. The red light will glow when the battery is properly loaded into the pack and the lid is closed. The red light will stop glowing once the battery is fully charged.

To charge on a wall outlet:

1. Connect the larger USB connector into the wall charger.

2. Connect the smaller USB connector into the side of the pack.

3. Plug the wall charger into any 120V outlet.

How do I know when the battery needs recharging?

On all blu models, your battery will blink 30 times when it needs to be recharged. Please note your battery will blink five times when it is being overused. This does not mean it needs to be recharged; it simply means you should stop using your blu eCigs® electronic cigarette for 30–60 seconds.

APO/FPO Shipping – APO/FPO Addresses?

Due to regulation changes at the USPS, blu eCigs is no longer able to ship lithium-ion products to APO/FPO addresses. Orders that contain Rechargeable Kits, Batteries or Packs will not be able to be shipped to these addresses. Orders that include flavor cartridges, USB Chargers and Wall chargers will ship as normal. How do I track my order?

Once your order has been packed and is ready to ship, you will receive an email that will include your order tracking number and link for tracking. If you selected free shipping as your shipping method, then you can track your order on the UPS MAIL Innovations website. If you selected UPS as your shipping method, then you can track your package on the UPS website. Please allow up to 24 hours for your tracking number to become active.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Orders are typically shipped within 2 business days of order confirmation via email. If free shipping is selected, delivery times are typically 5–7 business days with no guarantee. However, due to significant layoffs, closures and other changes with the United States Postal Service (USPS), it may take longer than the estimated 5–7 business days to receive your package. Packages can be tracked through USPS, but additional tracking information may not appear on USPS.com, as packages are not required to be scanned by USPS until delivery. blu cannot take any responsibility for the delivery of orders; all delivery issues should be addressed with your local post office or UPS.

If UPS shipping is selected, delivery times are typically 1, 2 and 3 business days for the following services; UPS Three-Day Select, UPS Second Day Air, and UPS Next Day Air Saver.
