Ahoy, mateys! blu is back on dry land after a mind-blowing weekend at the BUKU Music + Art Project in which we rubbed shoulders with VIPs aboard the exclusive S.S. BLU-KU riverboat, and witnessed larger-than-life performances by The Flaming Lips; Chromeo; The Gaslamp Killer; Tyler, The Creator; Ana Sia; and many more.

New Orleans’ BUKU is kind of the Jared Leto of the music festival circuit: the perfect blend of culture and straight-up cool, boasting a dynamic lineup of indie rock, rap and EDM that’s complemented by a canvas of creativity including a graffiti wall, bazaar space, cooking competitions and a BUKU-inspired fashion show.

Now in its third year, BUKU has definitely hit its groove and, lucky for you, we were there to capture all the action.
