The blu Beach Club offers resort-style relaxation and a chance to play in the ocean while you’re taking a break between sets. In addition, the blu Butt Patrol will be combing the festival grounds and encouraging smokers to dispose of their cigarette butts properly. Keep an eye out for the blu Butt Patrol, because they’re rewarding Hangout fans with some serious upgrades! Search for them onsite, share your photo with them using #blubuttpatrol and you could score “Beach Baller” access at blu’s Beach Club. Imagine snagging preferred access complete with beach cabanas, lounge chairs, umbrellas and, of course, palm trees.

Anxious fans await the official release of Turn Blue, the latest album from The Black Keys. And lucky Hangout attendees will get to be a part of the kickoff to their European and North American tour in support of the album. The duo will close the main Hangout stage on Friday night.

Hailing from Concord, N.C., not too far from the blu HQ in Charlotte, The Avett Brothers return to the Hangout stage after performing as part of the 2011 lineup. Their folk-rock and indie-rock jams will spice up the main Hangout Stage on Sunday night.
