The Evolution of Smoking

Rating "Where do I begin? I waited a full year before trying an e-cigarette & I'm completely sold. The first puff was a little dizzying, but after a couple of tries, it felt more natural than smoking regular cigs! I am so excited and pleased with how well this is working for me & how immediate. This is truly an awesome product that is not an alternative to smoking, but rather the perfection of nicotine consumption. I've only had my Blu pack for 2 days & I've been looking at the reg. cigs I've got left with absolute scorn. I went out bar hopping that night & proudly (and smugly, I'll admit) puffed away on the dance floor, in the bathroom, at my table, and at the bar, while everyone else had to stop what they were doing to go out into the damp, freezing cold just to satisfy a a stinky, disgusting habit :D You may have a whole town full of converts on your hands because this is the EVOLUTION of smoking! In a world full of tech-savvy e-everything addicts, the E-Cigarette is a natural transition to a sleek, sexy, fun, and delicious alternative that fits better with the new millennium & the personality and concerns of the people living it! I'm now spending one tenth of what I was spending, I'll be saving on house cleaning, air fresheners, and my fingers won't discolor, hair, clothes, and breath will all smell good all the time! I'd say it's time to unveil the cons, but really, the following are not even annoying, just things I've noticed: 1. The Classic Tobacco tastes less like tobacco & more like an excellent cup of coffee, but without the nasty aftertaste or film in your mouth. It has a very pleasing smell as well as taste, and is faintly reminiscent of tobacco, but only faintly. I think it's actually good, because it provides a better-tasting substitute. 2. I got the basic start-up kit, which came with 2 Classic Tobacco, 1 Java Jolt, 1 Magnificent Menthol, and 1 Cherry Crush cartridges. I would not recommend putting them all in the pack, as the strength of the flavor and scent of the Classic Tobacco overwhelmed all the others. I couldn't really get an idea of the flavor of anything but the CT, and was surprised that the menthol was not stronger. I believe the cherry would be a good flavor if it were not contaminated by the CT, as I can just barely catch the undertones of cherry with the CT flavor (when using the Cherry Crush cartridge). 3. The cartridges are a little tricky to pull out of the pack when you have all five spots filled (and I have small, delicate hands) without removing all of them. I've also noticed that if I leave a cartridge attached to the battery & slide it in the case, when I go to pull it out again, the fit is snug enough to create a vacuum that 'puffs' the e-cig, thus wasting the battery & cartridge. I like that the fit is snug, but would suggest a small plug for the end of the opened cartridge to prevent this. It would probably also help keep the essence of the open cartridge(s) from permeating into others in the pack. I'm also not convinced the little leave sticker is sufficient for the task either. 4. The weight is naturally heavier than that of a cigarette, but it is easy to acclimate yourself, as once you realize the freedom you have, you will be taking it everywhere- I walked through my local Wal-Mart as a test & had absolutely no problems. I chose the black version. A few people noticed, but no one ever said anything to me other than asking me to tell them all about it. I have never heard the phrase, "Does it work?" so many times. " -

Rating "A friend of mine was smoking blu and I asked what it was. When he told me and I tried his I was impressed. The next day I went to Walgreens and purchased 2 disposables as I was researching all I could regarding e-cigs. I then purchased the premium 100 starter kit. I have already been able to get three friends (one of which has smoked for 50 years) to try blu and they are very happy. The only thing that I would like different is to be able to order a variety pack (flavors of my choice) to be sure that I would like them before I purchased a 5 pack of a flavor that I may not enjoy. I will continue to promote blu to everyone I know. Also the customer service is great and is available anytime. Thanks blu, my family and I thank you." -

Rating "I decided to take the plunge and buy the pemium 100's starter pack after trying a disposable blu my girlfriend bought at sheetz. The disposable felt almost like smoking the real thing - I'd say 80 - 90 percent real. I just got my starter pack in the mail and I don't know if it's because it's classic tobacco flavored and the disposable was menthol, but the vapor hit didn't seem to be the same. It's still a good product, but a bit of a let down after using the disposable which as a rule of thumb I thought would be of worse quality. Appearance wise, they get an A. Quality wise, I give a B+." -

Rating "At first id thought they'd sent me the wrong one, because it was so much smaller than the disposeable.....but no- its the right one. Its puts out a satisfying amount of vapor- almost as much as you'd get smoke off a real cig- and it has a satisfying feel. The charger pack is great if you're out and about and away from home- because you can charge your e-cigs on the go and not worry. I think this is a fantastic product- the only way it could be better is if it came with a variety pack of cartomizers and if the battery lasted a bit longer. Im not a heavy smoker (anymore) but an individual battery lasted a good 1/3 of a day. I mean, its great for the size it is honestly. When e-cigs came on the scene, id bought some other crappy brand... and thought it was novel. Whatever it was that i got, put out both crappy taste and vapor. Then a friend of mine had another brand e-cigs and i was impressed by those (they also have a charger pack) . So id bought one and was happy with it...it was leaps and bounds better than that first one id bought.....but still didnt put out quite enough vapor for me. Next I heard about Blu electronic cigarettes because a co-worker came to work with a disposeable Blu and i borrowed it and was incredibly impressed by it. Gave out about 2x the vapor of my other one (im looking now, for a good home for it. lol) I ordered the Blu Premium 100 pack kit.... I'm quite happy with it.....it puts out better and more vapor than the other e-cig i had before. LOL. Way to go Blu!!!! " -

Rating "Received a disposable Blu E-cig in Menthol as a gift. At first I wasn't sure what to expect. I opened it and began using it. Wow! I immediately ordered the Premium Starter Kit, I am axiously awaiting for it to arrive. Being in a career that I am constantly in front of people, I hated to smell like smoke. With the Blu E-cig that is not the case. I have to tell you I was out using my Blu E-cig and was approached by people asking what it was. I had a person walk into a Sheetz convenience store and bought one right away. I do not smoke in my house or in my car, now with the Blu E-cig I can. This product is an amazing creation and all you smokers out there should definately try it." -

Rating "Having been a long time smoker, I was skeptical about using an electronic cigarette. I tried my daughter in laws electronic cigarette and thought it was terrible, which made me doubt them even more. Then one day while at a good friends house I noticed she was not smoking but was using this black colored electronic cigarette I became curious and asked her about it (she had been a heavy smoker for over 40 years). She let me try hers (she had the Java Jolt flavored filter on at the time) and I was immediately impressed! She told me it was called Blu Electronic Cigarettes and also told me where she had bought hers, the next day I bought mine and to this day have not gone back to the old, nasty paper rolled cigarettes and don't regret my decision one bit! The only regret I do have is I didn't try them sooner and when I got my Blu starter kit the store did not carry the Blu premium 100 starter kit. Thank you for making my efforts so much easier and so affordable, I tell all my smoking friends and family about Blu Electronic Cigarettes every chance I get!" -

I love the fact that there is no muss nor fuss filling carts and all you need to do is screw the cart on to a freshly charged battery. The batteries charge fast and hold their charge for hours. Rating "I just recieved my premium 100 starter kit and after a day of use all I can say is Wow, Great job Blu ! A year ago I had tried the Original starter kit but being a pack a day smoker I was not impressed with the life and hassle of changing/screwing the batteries into the pack. The Premium 100 kit has a much longer battery life - keeping cigarette size - which is definitely a plus for me ! The flavour cartridge lasts longer too ! The red and blue indicator lights on the outside of the charging pack makes it a breeze to quickly check the battery staus of the pack and the electronic cigarette battery inside. The pack is exceptionally well made and organized and I love the blue light up logo. I'm not too much into the social feature of the pack but I'm sure it will be fun for a lot of people. Anyway, I got through my workday today with no hassle from my ecigs ! The Johnson Creek ejuices are very flavourful and after trying several different brands I think they are the best out there. I am happy to say that I am a fan of this product and will use it for a long time to come ! Thankyou, " -

It has a great "puff". I like the tobacco flavor because it is full bodied with no bitterness. GO BLU!!" -

Rating "I tried other e cigs but found that Blu is one of the best.. It has more vapor and I love that the juice is made in Johnson Creek, USA. I also like that Walgreens is now selling Blu's. I do wish that the Blu company would give me coupons to buy the cartridges at Walgreens. It would be nice to get $2 off coupons. Also, I think the company should make a 7 cartridge pack. I find that I use 1 cartridge a day. So, why not make a 7 cartridge pack? On the downside, I find that you have to charge the pack once a day ( original pack) It doesn't keep a charge for more than a day and if I forget to charge it I will have dead batteries by the middle of the day. I wish the company would make a car charger type device. Sometimes I have noticed that the USB is a little tricky to get it to sit good in the port. Sometimes I have to wiggle it to get it to start charging the battery. Hopefully, the company will read my review and make some changes if possible. 1- make a 7 cartridge pack. 2- give us coupons to purchase cartridges at Walgreens ( they cost $15 for a 5 pack) give us $2 off coupons 3- make a car charger device ( I drive a lot ) ." -

Rating "I agree with one of the previous reviews. I think there should be a laminated card that you send to the customer with one of there orders. That states that Blu is a vaper emitting electronic cigarette. Also I think you should come out with a variety pack kind of deal. Like make it and option to pick 5 different flavors of the customers choice and 1 pack would be sent with 5 cartridges different. Also, I just order 4 packs that were all different flavors. I think there should be an option, sense you have the buy 4 deal, that lets you pick multiple flavors at once. So, it makes getting to check out a lot faster. Inturns making the customer happy with the service that they have been provided. This is fron a highly happy customer that plans to use the Blu electronic cigarette indeffinatly. I believe this company will prosper over all companies trying to produce the electronic cigarettes. Blu E-cig . . . Just plan amazing. I'm refering everyone I know that smokes about Blu. Jacob D. Rating "So, I was at my local convenience store, just like every other day, buying a pack of smokes. On their counter, they had a cheap disposable (not Blu brand) e-cigarette. I thought "Eh, why not try it out? The worst thing that can happen is I am out a few bucks!". So, I bought that instead of my usual smokes, and was kind of impressed. I found out that my local discount chain carried rechargeable e-cigs, and I bought their starter kit. It was one battery, one cartomizer (plus I bought a refill package of 5), and a USB charger. It wasn't a no-name, but man was that thing horrible. Leaky cartomizers, hard to draw off of, yukky flavor. I had it for about an hour before I started researching. Blu brand came up in MANY searches and seemed to be highly recommended, so I drove to my nearest Walgreens (about 40 minutes away) to buy the starter pack and a pack of cartomizers. I enjoyed smoking, but I enjoy my Blu even more! Everything smells better (my house, my clothes, my car). It is cheaper than regular cigarettes too. If you're on the fence, you should go for it! You've got very little to lose and EVERYTHING to gain!" -

Rating "The wife started with your disposables e-cig from Walgreens a couple weeks ago and suggested we both get starter packs. Having both smoked for over 30 years and with her already having trying the disposables already, I figured WHY NOT. I had looked around the www and kept seeing good things about BLU. Especially liked that the juices were made from vegetable glycerins vs. propylene glycol AND came from the USA. Just seems like there is a little more accountability there than smoking antifreeze from China but maybe thats just me. I must say you guys have nailed it ! I got the BLU Premium 100 starter pack.No Muss / No Fuss ! Everything you need fits in the pack and you can enjoy anywhere. Totally replicates every physical aspect of smoking. The pack to carry around, the feel of a cigarette in your hand, the taste, the vapor, still being able to hang with your friends who smoke and having something to do so you don't miss smoking. These work, taste great, cheaper than cigarettes, and go anywhere.
