Rating "I picked up the classic tobacco disposable from Walgreens, and after a few days with it I was impressed so I decided to order the premium 100 starter kit. It shipped quickly and for free. After trying the classic tobacco light with my premium 100, and being amazed with the smooth taste, I decided to order every flavor available. Heres my personal review of all the flavors in the medium/light strength. Classic tobacco- Excellent. This was the flavor that got me hooked. 5/5. Magnificent menthol- I used to be a menthol smoker, then switched to regular tobacco, but I decided to give all the flavors a shot. This flavor is nice and minty, but menthol just isn't for me. 4/5. Cherry crush- Definitely great cherry flavor. My girlfriend describes it as a cherry Italian ice she loves. 5/5. Pina coloda- I'm one of the few people who doesn't really care for pineapples, but I love coconut. This flavor is more pineapple than coconut, but I still really enjoy it. 4/5. Java jolt- Not impressed. It has a bit of a harsh hit on your throat, and it's not that much like coffee. Maybe the darkest, burnt, black coffee. 3/5. Peach schnapps- This one is really good. Nice smooth peach taste. 5/5. Vivid vanilla. Another good one. It's sweet and smooth. Reminds me of vanilla frosting or ice cream. 5/5. Overall, blu is great. I've had no problems so far. Both my orders were received in 3-4 business days. I have switched from smoking paper cigarettes for over 2 weeks now. I took a pull of someones cigarette yesterday for the hell of it, the brand I used to smoke even, and it tasted like i licked an ashtray. I can't see myself going back to tobacco cigs after trying blu. The vapor/smoke produced on every hit is great, I almost feel like I'm smoking a mini, smooth hookah. Absolutely pleased with this product. I won't go anywhere without it. 5/5. You're my boy blu! " -

Rating "I am such a believer in Blu that I am hard pressed to think of anything I would do to improve it. I think about the only thing I would change is make a "partners' kit, which is more economical than buying two separate kits for people who want to join blu together, make the premium "pak" which is sold individually work with the Premium 100 batteries, and market and sell a "sample" cartridge pak which includes several of the different flavors. Oh, I know! You could come up with a special Battery/cart color for holidays or something or maybe a BLUE cartridge battery combo for a prize for special seasonal contest or something. LoL Reaching here. :) Honestly, I love Blu. I have my life back. Thank you. " -

Rating "Tonight, I picked up my first BLU - Electronic cigarette. It was one of the disposable ones... I was so excited to see them I had to get one. I have to say, I'm truly impressed. I got the menthol - normally I smoke Marlboro Mild's, which are a cross between regular and menthol. I bought the Magnificent Menthol Blu..... and yes it is! Just under the mint, there's this very light but rich coffee flavor... and I could almost swear... chocolate. Together, the blend is quite nice. I like this option much better! " -

Rating "I have recently been smoking a different brand of E cigs and have been for a f ew weeks, well the other week I ran out of carts for mine so I went to the store to get more. While there I saw they were selling the Blu disposible so I decided to give it a try. As soon as I opened it and took that first hit I was hooked. I never realized there was any difference between different brands, boy was I wrong, It was delicious and the amount of vapor it produced was great, just like smoking a regular cig. As soon as I got home I went on the internet and ordered the premium starter kit. It Just arrived today and I am very satisfied with the quality of the product. It was beautifully packaged and it seems you have used very good quality materials to make everything. The only thing I would change would be the battery color, I would make it a flat black like the disposible one as opposed to the gloss black, but this is minor. I just attached a vanilla cart and man is that tasty I can't wait to try the other flavors. Great product keep up the good work." -

I'm not a menthol smoker but I tried it anyway and was totally suprised at how real the smoking sensation was. Yesterday I was in Walgreens getting my Heart Medication and I noticed behind the checkout person there was a stand with Blu electronic cigarettes so I went ahead and bought one. I was so impressed that I bought one for my 36 year old daughter to try and she loved it as well. so I ordered a Premium100 Starter for me and my daughter. Rating "I ordered the blu100 premium pack and went with blu because I like that they have a variety of flavors. I ordered Menthol for my starter pack, but was dissapointed I didn't get a flavor sampler pack included as well liket eh other kits offer. Why is the multi flavor kit not offered for sale....It would be nice to be able to do so as then one could enjoy a multitude of flavors in one box instead of having just 1 flavor at a time available. The Storage Box is built well , but it in my opnion it could use a few improvements like an interior light so when you open the lid you can see the contants in poor lighting which could easily be done by pulling off the blue light that comes on when you open the lid. The E-Cigs are well constructed and having the blu light at the end tells people its not a real cigarrete and makes a great conversation starter even if they don't have the pack with its social indicator. The E-Cigs do tend to get a little hot while being smoked. When the cartridge starts to get to the end of its life the menthol flavor I had chosen began to get a bitter taste to it. Despite still have smoke left the flavor wasn't very pleasent when the bitter taste arose at the end. The blu100 premium pack is a good price for what the kit comes with, 2 Batteries, A Usb Wall Charger, A Usb Battery Charger, Charging cable for the Pack and the well construced pack itself with the convience of being able to charge a battery while using the other so you have a battery ready to go when you need it. The status indicators of pack charge and battery are a easily viewed to determine pack charge and battery charge status when the lid is opened. battery indicator while charging cycles the lights to show it is charging. I only gave a 4 because of the way the E-cigs get a little hot and the change in flavor as the cartridge gets to the end of it's life cycle." -

Not only did I find Blu to be the only electronic cigarette to give me that "draw" I was looking for but the chargeable pack on the go is a huge advantage that other electronic cigarettes simply do not have. My favorite flavor is the menthol even though I never smoked menthol cigarettes. I look forward to trying their new flavors and am excited about never smelling like an ash tray ever again!" -

Rating "I am 21 and ordered the premium starter kit. A friend came to work and let me try his and i fell in love with the tastes that blu cigs offer! I would recommend this pack for HOOKAH LOVERS and college students. This pack is amazing and with all the flavors. If you are like me who enjoys smoking BUT, does not like smelling like cigarettes or cigars, and the annoyance of always going outside to smoke or smelling up your car this is the substitute for you. As posted above, the 2 batteries that come with the pack charge relatively quickly making it fun to share with a friend. I purchased the cherry crush and vanilla flavors. I have noticed between me and my friends that the vanilla has a shorter cartidge life compared to the cherry and pina colada. I hope this opens the eyes of blu cigs and helps them realize the other consumers like myself and boosts their marketing for this amazing device! For current college students this is perfect for smoking in a dormitory while working on your schoolwork without the constant breaks to smoke. " -

Rating " First of all, I'm not a cigarette smoker, never have been. The habit is revolting, shallow, and stupid. BUT, I am a hypocrite in that I Enjoy Pipe Smoking on occassion. I enjoy the taste of flavored aromatic pipe tobacco blends, without inhaling. I'm a lightweight and get my butt kicked if I try to inhale! I also enjoy Hookahs, so when I started reading about blu ecigs and all the flavors, I was intrigued. So I go to Walgreens and buy a disposable blu in the tobacco flavor, after reading reviews about the subtle coffee and chocolate notes. On the first draw, WOW. Just like a great pipe tobacco! Really tastey! Nice creamy coffee and chocolate notes just like the review I read! I DIG IT! ...I did try to inhale, and ended up getting my butt kcked, but that's because I'm a LIGHTWEIGHT!! :-)" -

Rating "I ordered a blu Premium starter kit and 2 extra Magnificent Menthol cartridges at the 0 nicotine level. I paid something around $20 for 2-day shipping because I knew I would need them asap. I ordered the products early on a Tuesday and received them after midday on Friday. I ended up buying a cheap disposable e-smoke from the gas station while waiting. The lesson here is that no matter how fast of shipping you pay for - blu may or may not get your package in the mail for a few days. If timing is important, figure that in to your order. I've seen a lot of comments on blu's facebook page and in other reviews stating that their shipping time isn't fantastic. (As often as I've seem them sell of certain items I imagine that they're having trouble keeping up with the new demand their product has generated. Things should improve once they get used to the process.) So order well ahead of time. That or familiarize yourself with local stores that sell their products. I thought I lived in the middle of nowhere, but found four stores that carry starter kits, cartridges and accessories in my area. I knew when my package had arrived because the whole office smelled like mint. My order came in a bubble wrap envelope with the 5 pack cartridges loose inside along with the starter kit which was in a plastic wrapped box. The cartridges weren't plastic wrapped and absolutely filled the whole envelope with mint! (I doubt they need to be wrapped for "freshness" or anything since each cartridge comes with it's own plastic cap and a sticker on the inhaling end that are to be removed prior to use.) The packaging of the starter kit is VERY high quality, sturdy, and sharp looking as well. Inside, the pack itself was on top in plastic molding. Beneath that was a cardboard "envelope" wrapped manual, and beneath that, the rest of the accessories. (USB charger, USB cable, USB plug adapter and two individually wrapped batteries.) The first thing I noticed was that the matte black finish on the pack itself, while looking great, seems vulnerable to scratches. I did rub a fingernail against a corner to test it, but it didn't mark. The finish might be more durable than it appears. The cartridge is covered in a matte black sticker and has a gold colored connector. (The cartridge is a steely silver underneath, making me think that all cartridges regardless of color are covered by stickers) The connector does show a little when the battery is attached. (This is how it's meant to be, not a fault.) Unlike the cartridge, the battery has a shiny black finish which isn't specifically unappealing, but if I had a choice, I'd want them both matte. (I'd also like the connector to be black or silver also, but that's just nit-picky.) The tip of the "cigarette" does glow blue which initially was a turn off for me. With E-smokes still being relatively new, I figured if it wasn't obvious that I was smoking one before, now it -really- would be. BUT... when I read blu's site, they mention that it actually can work in your favor - if someone sees you smoking your blu, they'll know for sure it's not a real smoke and you may be less likely to get harassed. Didn't think about it like that. That fact neutralized my feelings about the blu tip. I seem to recall reading somewhere that the rear end of the blu cig is made of silicone though it may have been another brand. Either way, if it is in fact silicone, it's not so soft as I envisioned. The hardness of the end does not closely mimic the feeling of an actual cigarette, but to be honest, I didn't even think about that fact until I started writing this review. Obviously I wasn't that bothered by it. I'm not sure whether it's the slightly different weight, the hard end, or another factor, but these smokes might take some getting used to before I can hold them between my lips without them falling out like I could do easily with a regular cigarette. The size of the regular cartridge and battery together are damn close to the size of an actual cigarette. I don't have any here to compare it with. While waiting for my order to arrive I purchased a disposable, brandless, e-smoke at a gas station to hold me over. It's at least twice the size of a regular smoke and the blu that I just bought. (Also it takes olympic trained lungs to take a full hit, hits super light, is covered by a sticker that peels up and is rather heavy for what it is.) There were no "first time use" instructions in the starter kit, but the owner's manual is rather short, easy to understand and did include the necessary directions I needed, just not in the easy to find way I had hoped. It took me an extra minute to figure out what I was doing. Not a big deal. Plugging the USB cord into the pack to charge it, I noticed that the connection felt a little snug. Over time I imagine that it will loosen up a bit. I'd much rather have a tight fit than a loose one. All of the accessories seem to be high quality constructed. Nothing feels loose or liable to fall off/break/etc. It seems like a lot of attention was paid to the smaller details. Each item is branded with the company name and/or logo, led's are in the shape of "blu" triangles, there's an "UP" sticker on the USB cord so you know which way to face it, and everything has a charging indicator/led so that you know where you stand with your smokables. I plugged the pack in as soon as I received it and it took approximately an hour before it vibrated, letting me know that it was fully charged. The batteries do come with some amount of charge straight from the factory but it is still recommended to charge them when you're able. I plugged one battery into the USB charger for about ten minutes before I put it into use and didn't have any problems for the couple hours I used it. I wasn't sure which slots were for what when I opened the pack. The slots -are- labeled though, and it didn't take me but a second to figure it out. One thing I didn't know when I ordered was that only one of the two battery slots is a charging slot. The other is for storage only. Sure it'd be nice to have them both charge, but honestly, I'm not too worried about it. I may eventually buy another battery so that I can always have one in use, one charging, and one ready. When inhaling, there is a quiet sort of popping/hissing that comes from the cartridge. Part of it is air being sucked through the connector (there's a small opening there to facilitate airflow) and the other part is the liquid being vaporized in the atomizer. (This is an educated guess.) It's not bothersome. It's only slightly louder than the sound of tobacco and paper burning when you take a hit off a normal cigarette. (i.e. quiet). Naturally, without the actual -burning- or smoke, hitting the blu cig is not as satisfying as hitting a real cigarette. The best comparison I can think of is going from a full flavored cigarette to an ultra light. It almost feels like hitting flavored air. (Though in this case, that's precisely what you're doing.) Still, I once switched from full flavored cigarettes to ultra lights and it only took me a day or two to adjust to the flavor difference. Then, anytime after that, full flavored smokes tasted too heavy. So long as you're willing to work through the adjustment, you'll be just fine. The actual inhalation doesn't feel like much at all, but the experience is weighed out by the awesome exhale. That's when the flavor and sensation really make an impact. The amount of vapor has to be really close if not the same as the amount of smoke a cigarette produces. It feels great too, clean, less likely to irritate my throat/nose. The 0 nicotine cartridges are FANTASTIC. I don't sense any difference between these cartridges and the other e-smokes I've tried with nicotine. I'm sure on some level my body notices, but I absolutely love them. The amount of vapor produced is awesome - almost unreal - especially compared to the other e-smokes I've tried. It's just a quality product all around and completely worth the investment (which is still cheaper than regular smokes.) The Magnificent Menthol flavor IS magnificent. It has the smallest hint of a woodsy sort of burn to it which I think is their way of mimicking the taste of burning tobacco. It's balanced perfectly with the menthol flavor. If it was more it would taste too artificial and if it was less it wouldn't taste much like a cigarette. It might not even be flavoring, it could just be the heat applied to the liquid to turn it into a vapor that produces that flavor. Either way, I like it like that. The mint is strong enough to still taste after exhale, and probably something you could taste in a kiss as well. I've seen some reviewers and facebook comments asking for a car charger. Personally, I will be able to use the USB cord as one. Instead of hooking the cord between the pack and the USB adapter I can just hook it up between the pack and the USB connector in my car. Anyone who has a car converter can just use the regular plug in it. Barring that, you can buy a USB car adapter for less than $10 in most major electronics stores or all in one stores. Not to mention, I'm sure blu will release one eventually and you could always just keep a charged pack (which is supposed to offer 7 full battery charges) and wait til then. These are my observations/opinions on the product. Overall I'm beyond satisfied. Could things improve? Sure. But I'm willing to bet that the company is already working on future expansions/improvements. As far as the blu brand is concerned, I have no intention to use any other electronic cigarette. I'm thoroughly impressed with the craftsmanship put into the design of their product, the flavor it produces, and the satisfaction that nothing else could give me aside from real cigarettes. I can take this bad boy almost anywhere without having to worry about bans, staining up walls, smelling up clothes, yellowing teeth, etc. I mean hell, even if it wasn't for all of that... I can smoke at work! That alone is worth it."
