Hangin’ out at Hangout

Hangin’ out at Hangout

Crank up the heat and turn up the beats with blu at the Hangout Music Festival, May 16–18. The festival takes place on the white, sandy beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama—just across the Florida border and down the coast from legendary Spring Break locales like Panama City Beach and Destin. Here, you can frolic with 35,000 like-minded music-lovers while rocking out to performances from 70 artists covering a variety of musical genres.

Entering its fifth year of legendary performances, Hangout is the place to be for those searching for a weekend of non-stop tunes in a beachside paradise. And blu is taking it to the next level this year with the blu Beach Club.

The blu Beach Club offers resort-style relaxation and a chance to play in the ocean while you’re taking a break between sets. In addition, the blu Butt Patrol will be combing the festival grounds and encouraging smokers to dispose of their cigarette butts properly. Keep an eye out for the blu Butt Patrol, because they’re rewarding Hangout fans with some serious upgrades! Search for them onsite, share your photo with them using #blubuttpatrol and you could score “Beach Baller” access at blu’s Beach Club. Imagine snagging preferred access complete with beach cabanas, lounge chairs, umbrellas and, of course, palm trees.

This highly anticipated festival is already sold out. But if you didn’t snag a ticket, you can still hang with the best of ’em by watching the live stream at and following all of the blu action on Twitter and Instagram. Check out some of the headliners we’re super-stoked about.
